Sheet Metal Connect e.U. respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we process it. We only collect what is necessary and never sell your data.

Website: No Tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics software, or third-party advertising scripts. Your browsing behaviour is not tracked. We only use essential cookies (language preference) stored in your browser's localStorage.
Smart Factory Assessment
When you complete the free assessment on our website, we collect your answers and calculate a score. If you choose to provide your email address and company name, we store this data to send you a personalised results report and up to 4 follow-up emails over 14 days. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying or contacting us.
Data collected: Email address (optional), first name (optional), company name (optional), company size, assessment answers, score, company profile, activities, language preference.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: your explicit consent via the submission checkbox.
If you skip email: No data is stored. You will only see your results in the browser.
Contact & Scheduling
When you book a call via our scheduling widget (Calendly), your name and email address are processed by Calendly Inc. under their privacy policy. We only receive the data necessary to schedule the appointment.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: processing necessary for pre-contractual measures.
Email Communication
If you choose to receive your assessment report, we will send up to 4 emails over 14 days: your results, a digital vision primer, a relevant case study, and a final follow-up. After the sequence ends, we will not send further emails unless you explicitly request it.
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to an email or contacting us at office@vanenkhuizen.com.
Sub-processors
We use the following services:
- Supabase Inc., Database hosting (EU region, Ireland). Stores assessment results.
- MailerLite, Email marketing (EU, Lithuania). Stores subscriber data and sends email sequences.
- Calendly Inc., Appointment scheduling (US, EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
- Cloudflare Inc., Hosting and CDN (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Retention Period
Assessment data is retained for a maximum of 24 months for benchmarking purposes. After that, personal identifiers (email, company name) are deleted. Anonymised scores may be retained indefinitely for aggregated statistics. Contact form data is only retained as long as necessary to respond to your request.
Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccuracies, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.
